Volunteering in South Africa, Natasha Wilson
Natasha Wilson, a 17-old girl from Dunfermline in Scotland, is
planning to volunteer with the Project Trust at a placement at an
Outward Bound School in South Africa. Project Trust provides young
people with an opportunity to understand a community overseas by
immersing themselves by living and working there for a year.
Natasha said “I am a seventeen year-old student who is
passionate about contributing something to the world I live in, I
am a fun-loving, very sporty type of girl and Project Trust has
really brought me out of my shell.”
The JWCT provided £500 in December 2008 to Natasha as a
contribution to her fundraising efforts. She is busy applying for
her work permit and is due to join the project in South Africa in
January 2009. She has also held a number of successful fundraising
events, including running in the Dunfermline Half Marathon.
